Sevenyearshave passedsincethe initial publication
of Astro-Logos,which appearedthreeyearsaftermy first
text Ancient Hindu Astrology
for
the
Modern
Western
Astrologer. Since then, a new world has openedup for
astrologersand for those who enjoy the star language.
The receptionof Hindu astrology,also called Vedic as-
trology or Jyotish (the Indian term meaningthe science
of light), hasbeenprofoundandheartening.WhenAstro-
Logos first appeared,Hindu predictiveastrologywas an
exciting,
avant
gardeproposition
for
Westerners.
Now,
many Westernastrologersarefervently studyingtheEast-
ern system and thousandsof individuals have already
hadtheir Hindu astrologicalbirthchartsinterpreted.Word
of the great benefits of this event-oriented,rather than
psychological,systemis spreadingquickly and practi-
tionersof Hindu astrologyin Americahavetheir hands
quite full.
